        used book sale sponsored by The Friends of The Library
  • Computer Catalogue of the Collection
        Library material can be located either by subject, title or author. 
        Please type your selection and strike the Enter key.

  • College Catalogues
       
    Please ask at the circulation desk about our collection of
        College Catalogues. Some of the College Catalogues are
        available for check out. Others are for use within the 
        library only.
     
  • High School and College Yearbook Collection
       
    The library maintains a complete collection of
        local High School and College yearbooks. Please
        visit the Pennsylvania Room for details. These yearbooks
        are for viewing within the library only.
  • Magazines
        The Uniontown Public Library maintains a collection of back 
        issues of magazines for the past five years. You must give 
        the library a 24 hour notice for checking out magazines.
        The library sets a limit of 10 magazines per library card holder.

  • Microfilm of The Uniontown Newspapers
        Please go to The Pennsylvania Room for our complete
        list of archived Uniontown Newspapers on microfilm. These 
        archives allow our patrons to research Uniontown's earliest 
        printed publications and those recently released by The
        Uniontown Herald-Standard. For details please see our
        microfilm instructions.
  • Newspapers
    Our daily newspapers include:

  • Record Albums
       
    The library has many record albums available for 
        lending. The circulation desk will assist you with any
        specific requests you may have.
  • Large Print Books
       
    Whenever possible, the library will obtain Large Print 
        Books, which enable many of our patrons to better
        read many of our books. Please ask the circulation desk
        for specific publications in the Large Print Format.
      
  • Telephone Books
        Telephone Books are for use in the library only.
        For questions regarding the availability of telephone 
        books please contact the circulation desk.
  • Reservation Policy - Books may be reserved by asking
    the staff in person, by phone or post

  • Loan Policy - Books, records, audio cassettes and back
    issues of magazines may be checked out for a four week
    period. No renewals are permitted.

        The latest due date label on the pocket of the Library material
        is the date when the material is due.

        The Library reserves the right to limit the number of nonfiction
        titles per subject area which a patron is permitted to check out
        at any one time.
