ANTIQUES REFERENCE ~ The Web's First Choice for Antiques Research

Antique Road Show is one of the more popular television shows – and with reason. Who doesn’t have an item or two lying around the house that they are positive is worth something? Now you don’t have to wait for appraisers from the Antique Road Show to show up, you can get a head start on finding what that treasure is really worth on your own.
P4A, the Antiques Reference database, is available to Fayette County residents through the Monessen Public Library & District Center. This database is used by most leading personal property appraisers throughout the United States (including many Antiques Roadshow appraisers), antiques dealers, museums, and agencies like the Internal Revenue Service, to evaluate almost every kind of antique in today’s collections.
You may use the database at the library or from any web based item – computer, PDA, or phone. Simply log on to your library website and click on the antiques database. You will need your library card number to log in.
